At the young age of 18, Yokari set out to explore and ended up taking a gap year in Senegal, where she lived for eight months after graduating from high school. During her gap year, to cope with the homesickness and make sense of her life thus far, she began writing her first book: Margarita. 

Today, Yokari is a self-published author, she's travelled to 15 countries, and she has a bachelor's degree in social work (BASW) from Rutgers University–Camden. She is a lightworker born and raised in Camden, NJ who is on a mission to serve others in awakening, aligning, and transforming into their most radiant selves.
